The yellowest thing I could find during a dreary and rainy week.
Forgive my dusty yellow.
My yellow friend works pretty hard around here. It earns that dust.
It has loads of pretty yellow curves.
And battle wounds from the job.
Oh, Mr. Dyson, you had me at “doesn’t lose suction”.

Each Thursday, Beth at I Should Be Folding Laundry hosts a party for a specific photo assignment and gives the assignment for the next week. Great idea, huh? Like homework for your hobby.
But the fun kind of homework.

ReplyDeleteand girl, there is a special place in my heart for my dyson, too. in fact, i think we have the same one!! there have even been days where i like my vacuum cleaner more than i like my husband ;)
Love Sarah's comment. It's so funny. You always have the best photographs.
ReplyDeleteThanks for brightening my day.

Oh I would love a Dyson. For someone who loves to vacuum I am not sure why I don't! Funny to say great pics, but you do know how to snap them!
ReplyDeleteOooh... drool, drool, drool! I so want one, but can't bring myself to spend the money as I am a notorious vacuum killer. :(
ReplyDeleteOooh we love our Dyson too, and it makes me actually enjoy cleaning...well...almost.
ReplyDeleteHa! It's a great day for using the Dyson. I love my purple one.
ReplyDeleteI love these shots, how creative! The gray/yellow combination is one of my favorites right now.
ReplyDeleteReally? You made a vaccuum look beautiful!? That's just showin' off, girl. Nicely, nicely done. I am officially GREEN over these! :)
ReplyDeleteThat was a really cool post. I looked at the Dyson in a whole new way.
ReplyDeleteIt is like a transformer. It is your best fried and it is the color of a bumblebee. I REALLY want one, too.
ReplyDeleteIt has been super rainy and nasty around here, too. Whats up with that?!?
there goes my originality, if we ever have a purple challenge! :) No, in all seriousness these are great shots. you took something of every day ordinary and made it creative. Isn't that what we should do every day?
ReplyDeleteand furthermore- aren't dysons the BEST?
Hahahahahahaaaa! Great creativity! I knew someone would some more creative than my brain seemed to want to be this week...

thanks for turning me on to this assignment. It was fun. Love my Dyson too!
ReplyDelete-heather
Fun pics of an annoying but nessacary household appliance.
ReplyDeleteWell, what an introduction to Dyson. I feel like I know him so well! Love your shallow dof shots.
ReplyDeletenicely done!
ReplyDeleteWow, very cool way of looking at a vacuum cleaner! It looks much better piece by piece :).
ReplyDeleteAt first I did not know what it was. Great shots!
ReplyDeleteWe had rain all week, too- so glad I got my shots on Saturday before the clouds let loose! Such a neat shoot ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous! I wish I had a Dyson :) Great take on the theme!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE my Dyson - looks just like yours. Well, maybe not as creatively captured, but as well worn and loved, battle wounds and all. When we first got it, my husband and I would fight over who got to use it. Isn't that ridiculous? Now, the kids want to use it too!
